Now, for something new. We'd like to ask the graduate with the highest GPA to give us a brief speech summarizing their time at university. For this group, that honor belongs to Nestle Palmer. Take it away, Nestle...
Nestle: Thank you. You know, I wasn't that thrilled about this whole college thing when I first heard of it...especially when I heard about the whole shared housing thing.
I mean, it didn't seem to matter much to everybody else. In fact, they seemed happy they didn't have to split up.
Plus, this place wasn't maintained by the schools. So guess who was stuck doing all the chores...
For some reason, it seemed to be a lot more work for me. I mean, Eclipse seemed to clean the kitchen by magic, she did it so fast.
Then there were the Bernards' robots. I mean, they said they were just speakers, but...I mean, they were robots. I know a robot when I see it.
But the worst part was that I was still stuck living with my sister...my annoying, always in the way little sister.
Trying to make friends at college was hard. Trying to fall in love at college was even harder.
Luckily, I had already met my fabulous boyfriend Marshall...
...so I didn't have to worry too much.
And it turned out, there were great people everywhere. I remember when Padme came home from the student union-I guess she was trying to build a robot of her own...
And she wouldn't stop talking about this guy Darnell she'd met.
Pretty soon, they were a thing.
One of the hardest things about being at college is missing out on all the fun times with your family. But we did our best to make it work. I think our Winterfest tree came out pretty nice..
Trying to fix the TV didn't go so great.
Eclipse was the next one to find her special someone-Argus, from her piano class.
They seemed to hit it off...
Soon, Aurora started bringing Spencer over all the time...
And then Rey started bringing over Haych. You know what's more crowded than 8 people in a house? Try 11.
Luckily, by then the weather was getting a bit nicer so we could spend some time outside.
Of course, just because we were away at school didn't mean we never saw our parents. They dropped by from time to time...
Finn's mom even gave him a guitar. It looks like it was slapped together from driftwood, but it's the thought that counts I guess.
It's a good thing we had graduated by then, because all those engagement celebrations would have really eaten into our homework time.
Watching everyone get married was actually kind of weird. Have you ever gone to 4 weddings in one week?
I still can't believe that Aurora and Eclipse agreed to share...
Or Rey and Padme for that matter.
They said something about shared weddings being a family tradition.
Soon, it was just me and Marshall. But I'm still glad I had a chance to grown and learn...and make some friends, too.
I guess college wasn't so bad after all.
All right. Thank you, Nestle! That about does it for the graduation ceremony. Please help yourself to some refreshments on your way out, and let's head back for more of Round 21!
