Hi, guys! Whoa-looks like you've been doing some re-decorating.
Lily: Not really...just some new wall art and a new desk.
Sparrow: How come I didn't get an art desk?
Lily: Because...you said you wanted a science table?
Sparrow: But what if I wanted to learn how to draw?
Well, if you were going to do it, today would be the day...
Um...so, I'm not sure if that's Rose or Daisy...but either way, I think the new baby days are behind them...
Clam: Why are you eating in here?
Yeah, I have the same question.
Sparrow: I don't want to sit next to Raven anymore! It's not fair! Just because she paints and Mommy paints, she gets to be the favorite!
Clam: Whoa, there...we do not have a favorite, ok? We love you both the same. Come on-why don't you and I hang out for a bit while your mom and Raven paint?
Looks like story time with Dad smoothed things over...
Sparrow: Hey, do you want to help me with my project for school? I have to build a volcano.
Clam: Sure...I loved doing that project as a kid...it gets super messy!
Sparrow: Awesome!
And I see that Lily's been recruited to team Raven...what are you doing for your project?
Raven: We're building a castle! And we're gonna use tons of glitter and Mom's gonna paint the bricks so they look real!
Yup...glitter and parent-improved painting...sounds about right.
I thought you were building a volcano.
Sparrow: We are. Dad's adding a remote control.
...Why?
Sparrow: Well, I don't want to be too close when it explodes!
You may want to warn her teacher about this, Clam...
Clam: So, what do you think? Is our volcano going to take the prize or what?
Lily: Well, I don't know...our castle had a working drawbridge...
Was this contest the "over-involved parent" award? Because if so, I think you're both in the running.
Mandolin: Hi, Sparrow!
Sparrow: Hey, Mandolin...did you get your hair cut? It looks really good...
How can you tell?
Raven: There! All done!
What did you draw?
Raven: That's me...and that's our house...
Oh, I see...
Nice job, Raven...
Looks like it's time for Candy Fest!
Well, looks like you're all set with your costume...
Lily: Oh, just wait until you see the girls'...I got them the most adorable princess dresses...
Sparrow: Why did you get to pick the stupid costumes anyway?
Raven: I didn't pick-Mom picked. I just agreed. Besides, I like them!
Sparrow: Well I don't! It's hot, and itchy...why does Mom always pick things you like?
Raven: I don't know....why does Dad always pick things you like?
Clam: You sure you don't want to go upstairs and help hand out candy?
Sparrow: Nah...this is more fun...
At least this neighborhood adds some variety to the masks.
And now we've got an extra day off for Life Day...
Clam: So, since there's no school today, I thought we'd try something. Why don't we make this...Opposite Day?
Sparrow: Opposite Day?
Clam: Yeah. So Sparrow, you could try and paint a picture. And Raven, you could try to make a potion on the science table.
Raven: Well...ok...but you'd better not mess up all my stuff.
Sparrow: Well, you'd better not explode my science table...
Raven: Huh...this science stuff is kind of fun after all...look, I made this stuff turn green!
As long as it doesn't turn to "on fire" I think you're on the right track.
Well, now that the twin war seems to be winding down, I guess we have time for a birthday before I head out.
So I guess we're doing the birthday here?
Lily: Yeah, Clam said he wanted to keep it low key.
Well, in that case...Happy birthday, dear Clam...
And you look...exactly the same...
Clam: Yeah, I know.
Well, I guess I should be on my way...which means it's finally time for the town meeting!
A Message From the Mysterious Voice: And with that, we've come to the pre-Growing Together pause-because I'm finally caught up to where I am in my game. I didn't really set out to have each of the twins align with one of their parents, but it did kind of work out. I have to admit, though, I'm kind of over the bag thing. I know I can technically reverse the neighborhood policies but I always forget about it until it's too late in the week.
