Last round the Palmer family experienced something of a growth spurt, with every family member (except for Rocket the raccoon) celebrating a birthday. Dory grew from a toddler to a child and joined her brother and cousin in Scouts, while Hank and Flick grew from children to teens. All 4 of the grown-ups aged from young adult to adult as well.

Things look...different in here. Come to think of it...all of your houses have looked different this round.
Brett: Yeah...we just finished the town renovation...
Town renovation?
Brett: You didn't know? Aren't you like...the mayor or something?

At least they wrapped up the renovations in time for fall...
Josiah: So, um...you're in high school....
Flick: Yup.
Josiah: You...um...still doing that badge thing after school?
Flick: I guess...
I'm taking it that neither of you earned your "conversation" badge yet...

Dory: Scout clean up day!

Dory: I forgot it. It's ok, though. This way it won't get dirty.

Sprite: Yeah...I had no idea you were still doing this scout thing.
Hank: Oh, um...yeah, well...you know, my sister's still in it, so...
Sprite: (laughs) It's fine, Hank. I think it's sort of cute...
Merida: How was the park clean up?
Dory: It was great for me, but Hank got in trouble because he stopped halfway through to talk to his girlfriend...
Merida: Oh, did he?
Um...yeah, let's go to the lab with Josiah today.
Anything exciting going on?
Josiah: Ugh...not really. I can barely get near the equipment with all these visiting scientists...
Visiting?
Josiah: Yeah. I guess there was this other lab a few miles away and they had some sort of accident there...anyway, all of their guys are working here now until they fix it.
Huh...I didn't know there was another lab.
Josiah: Yeah, me neither. I mean, how many labs do you need, anyway?
Aww, she's waving at you...
Merida: What's up with its' nose?
Looks like it's time for a vet visit...
Um, excuse me, Mr...Vet? I appreciate the attention to detail but her nose it at the other end...
Huh...yeah, a breakfast out could be nice.
Jessie: Hi...
Eve: Hi...
Jessie: Where's Merida?
Eve: At the vet with the raccoon...
Jessie: You guys still have that thing?
Eve: (sigh) Unfortunately, yes. I really hope Hank takes that thing with him when he moves out...
Eve: You know, we haven't gotten together in so long...
Jessie: I know. It seems like we're doing something with Planet's family every other day.
Wait...I thought you guys were having breakfast?
Eve: We are...see the coffee?

Speaking of breakfast...are you making grilled cheese at 9AM?
Hank: Sure. It's always a good time for grilled cheese...
Yeah, just like it's always a bad time for fire...
Eve: Flick, does this raccoon really need to sit in the middle of the table while we eat?
Flick: Oh, come on, Mom. I think Rocket makes a great centerpiece.
Somehow I don't think Rocket counts as a holiday decoration...

Trying to use a knife wearing those...gloves. And can you even see what you're doing?
Besides, you don't want to get pumpkin gunk all over your costume before the party...

Sunshine: Are you kidding? All of these costumes are so cheesy...
Flick: Aw, come on, Sunshine. Where's your holiday spirit?
Sunshine: Well...I guess your costume is kind of cute...what are you supposed to be exactly?
Flick: Um...I'm not sure, exactly...I mean, I know it's some kind of smuggler...I think...
Fortunately for Flick there's no costumes involved on Life Day...
Although it looks like we're still getting dressed up.
Dory: We have to go to the boring ceremony...
Hank: It's not boring, Dory. It's about people that died. Besides, once it's done we get to go cheer on Mom and Aunt Eve...

Flick: Yup. Tonight's talent showcase night...

Merida: Won? Nobody "wins" talent showcase...

Eve: Yeah...it's just for fun.
Oh...well then...
Well, at least someone accomplished something today.
Hopefully Hank won't get in trouble for this date...

A Message From the Mysterious Voice: Wow, this one took me a long time to write. I don't know why this house is always so hard! I guess it worked out since I was able to drop some Strangerville hints with Josiah at the lab. And yes, every pet in town is still sick when I load their lots. I have no idea why.
