Round 2 Scorecard

We've made it to the end of another round! I've decided to add something new to these scorecards that I don't do in Tranquility Bay. In addition to keeping track of Sims added by birth, marriage and moving in, I'll be adding an "In Memoriam" section to keep track of how many Sims died in each round. This isn't really necessary as far as the Prosperity rules are concerned, but with how many times Grimmy showed up this round I thought it would be a nice touch. Also, huge thanks to the user "puremorphin" on Mod the Sims 2 for making the TS4 icons pack and thus allowing me to make these a little more visually appealing.

Sims Added by Birth:

Joy Howard-Hinton

Confusion Howard-Campos

Sabrina Flenderson

Sims Added by Marriage/Move In:

Reginald ??? (Moved into Palmer 1)

Finley ??? (Moved into Palmer 1)

(Yes, I forgot to write down their last names.)

In Memoriam:

Larry Hannon-Old Age

Randy Hannon-Old Age

Carl Bernard-Old Age

Judith Bernard-Old Age

Roger Bernard-Old Age

Gerald Palmer-Old Age

Betty Palmer-Old Age

Dorothy Flenderson-Old Age

New Naming Themes:

Howard 1: Emotions

Flenderson 1: Pokemon Gym Leaders

And that wraps up Round 2! I'm going to be holding off on starting Round 3 until after Get to Work is released. Until then, I've got some catching up in Tranquility Bay to do.

Flenderson 1: Round 2

Last round, William and Michelle moved in with their three kids, Noah, Ryan, and Alyssa, as well as William's mother Dorothy. As if trying to raise three kids in a new home wasn't hard enough, Dorothy's...eccentricities kept the entire family on their toes. Noah was still able to find a girlfriend, while Alyssa developed a love of the monkey bars and Ryan tried to make a best friend.

Well, things are starting off on a good note for Noah, at least.

Alyssa: So, what are we going to do today?

Michelle: Well, honey...your father and I were actually hoping to spend some time alone today...

Alyssa: Why?

William: Well, you see...

Michelle: Why don't you go and count how many times you can make it across the monkey bars without falling?

Alyssa: Ok!

William: How long do you think we have?

Michelle: She usually stays on the monkey bars for about an hour...that should give us just enough time...

Ok, I'm out of here....

Yay! Congratulations!

Dorothy: What's that? Yes, I think that will be just fine...

William: Um, Mom? Did you remember to take your meds today?

Yeah, adding a baby to this house seems like a great idea.

Nice job, Ryan!

Congratulations, Michelle...

Man, maybe you should take advantage of the family leave...

Alyssa: Grandma, what's wrong with Mommy?

Dorothy: It's the aliens. They're coming. Soon.

Alyssa: You're so silly, Grandma!

Congratulations, William!

And not a moment too soon, either. You've got one more mouth to feed!

Michelle: It's coming! It's coming! It's...

It's a girl! What's her name?

Michelle: We're calling her Sabrina.

Nice...

Aww, she's cute.

Michelle: Especially now that she's out of me!

Alyssa: Ryan! What are you doing up here? Mom just had the baby! Come on!

Ryan: I don't care! Go away!

Alyssa: Ow! Mom! Ryan shoved me off the monkey bars!

I think your mom's a bit busy with the new baby, Alyssa. Besides, I have another surprise for you.

Alyssa: A pool!? We have a pool?

Well, you need some other way to build your motor skill if you're going to finish your aspiration. And your family had some stuff in inventory you weren't using. I figured the older siblings needed a present too.

Alyssa: This is so awesome!

Uh-oh...

And Dorothy dies right on the sidewalk, meaning her grave will be impossible for me to move. Great.

William: Remind me why we had another kid again?

Michelle: I don't think the other ones cried this much. Do you think something's wrong?

William: No, the other ones were just in different rooms from us.

Alyssa: Hi, baby! Don't cry! Look, I'll make funny faces!

I don't think funny faces will help with a dirty diaper, Alyssa.

Well, at least one of them completed their aspiration.

Alyssa: Look what I can do!

Ryan: Stop showing off!

Oh, boy...I see the cradle shaking...

Wow, you're a really pretty little girl!

Sabrina: Thanks!

Have you picked an aspiration?

Sabrina: Yup! I want lots and lots of friends!

Another social butterfly...great.

Sabrina: I wish I could have met Grandma...

Well, technically you did...but she died very soon after you were born.

Of course, that doesn't mean the two of you can't bond now.

Dorothy: And the big bad wolf said "Open the door and let me come in..."

Why is it that Dorothy's a better grandma as a ghost?

Looks like Ryan is less than thrilled about his ghost grandma...

Aww...I guess now that you both have a little sister the other one doesn't seem so annoying, huh?

Ryan: Yup.

Speaking of, where is Sabrina?

Joy: Hey, we kind of have the same shirt!

Sabrina: I kind of like yours better.

Joy: I like your hat!

The joy of having almost every child in town being a social butterfly...

Michelle: A bit of this...a bit more sugar..

What are you making?

Michelle: Birthday cakes. It's Noah's and the twins' birthdays today.

Couldn't they all share one cake?

Michelle: They could, but I want them to each have their own. It's not their fault that their birthdays are all on the same day.

Sabrina: Do I get a cake too?

Michelle: It's not your birthday, honey. You'll get one soon.

Michelle: There we go. Ok, guys! Cakes are ready! Come blow out your candles!

Looks like the oldest is up first. Happy birthday, dear Noah...

Man, aging up in this town is apparently terrifying!

No new aspiration this time...

Wait, Noah's girlfriend Jennifer is having her birthday too? But she doesn't live here.

Jennifer: Well, this is nicer than having my birthday all alone.

You seem to be happier about it, anyway.

Happy birthday, dear Alyssa...

Wow, not bad.

Alyssa: Thanks.

Have you picked your first grown-up aspiration yet?

Alyssa: I want to be fabulously wealthy!

Ok, it could be worse.

Happy birthday, dear Ryan...

And Ryan got a nice hat too. What about your aspiration?

Ryan: I want to be a collector!

Ok, very do-able.

Noah: Jennifer, there's something I've been meaning to...um...ask

Noah: Will you marry me?

Jennifer: Yes! Of course! Let's do it right now!

Ok, ok, slow down. Tell you what. Why don't you two get your own household set up first. I'll take another lap around the neighborhood, and when I get to you guys then we'll have the wedding, ok?

See you guys soon! On to round 3 we go!

A Message From the Mysterious Voice: I think these guys are my favorite family. I was able to finance the pool by selling off the career reward objects from the family inventory; it was the best choice I could have made. I actually really, really love that you can age up townies using the birthday cakes, and that Michelle actually baked the cakes for her kids. And we should be done with the string of deaths for awhile, at least. On that note, if anybody knows how I could go about moving Dorothy's grave off the sidewalk, please let me know. (Notice how it's still an urn even though it's outside? That's because the game doesn't technically consider it on the lot. I can't grab it even with the move objects on cheat...)
