Last round was an exciting one for the Doe family. Amethyst and her new husband, Liam, found themselves pregnant with their first child and soon welcomed a daughter, Sapphire. Sadly, Mackerel passed away from old age shortly after. Then, the family's luck took another turn when Amethyst won the town lottery and the family suddenly found themselves one million Simoleons richer.

Amethyst: Hi, mysterious voice...
I see you guys have been busy around here since I left. What happened to "we're not changing the house"?
Amethyst: Well, you know, we decided to re-paint a couple rooms...and one thing led to another.
Liam: So, how about we break in the new bed?
Amethyst: It's the same bed, honey...
Liam: Oh...well, we should probably make sure it didn't get damaged in storage...
Well, luckily this remodel also means there way more space for me to awkwardly wait outside...
Uh-huh...right on cue.
Liam: This is so great!
Amethyst: I know! I can't wait to tell Sapphy she's going to be a big sister. She'll be so excited!
Plus, a new baby should liven things up around here. There's not much going on this week...
Sapphire: Grandma, when's the baby gonna get here?
Christin: Not for a little while...
Sapphire: What are we gonna do until then?
Christin: Well, you're going to go to play group tomorrow. That will be fun...
And I see we're doing indoor play group today...probably a good idea with the heat.
Although it looks like we're going to have to leave early anyway...it's baby time!
Amethyst: I think this is it...

Amethyst: Yes, he did. But we have to be really quiet because he's sleeping.

So how's the programming coming along?
Liam: Great! I just wish Amethyst's brother would stop sending me these stupid messages about his "business opportunities"...

Liam: Every day I get another e-mail from the guy...I guess there's this big account at his office, so him and these two other guys are going to try and hack into the system to get the information to get to them first...I don't know the whole thing just sounds shady.
Sounds like he's trying to recruit you into some kind of hacking cult...I suppose Amethyst doesn't know about this?
Liam: No, I don't want to upset her...what with the new baby and everything...
Well, that new baby's about to be a toddler so you're about to lose that excuse.

Christin: Since when do you get along with Liam?
Garnet: Hey, he's a programmer too, right? I wanted to talk shop.
Christin: He's actually out back...he's about to set off the fireworks, though so I wouldn't interrupt him...
Do us all a favor and listen to her, Garnet. We've had a fire-free week so far, I'd like to keep it that way.
I still don't understand how this is legal to do from your backyard, but it's very pretty....

A Message from the Mysterious Voice: I know, I know...this is way too uneventful of a lot to have taken me this long to write. Honestly, I've been more focused on playing through the houses recently trying to get to our first University group. (Next round I'll have more patience, but for this one I really want to try all the university stuff.) Anyway, not a whole lot going on for these guys this round. Now that Garnet's moved out I think I'll have to get these guys a pet or something to keep things interesting.
